The microcontroller or SBC (such as Raspberry Pi) communicates without using Wi-Fi. The thermal imager can be operated in radiation measurement /TLinear (each pixel has temperature data) or AGC mode (each pixel has no temperature data, but the image is better). A simple command set based on json, with TCV/IP socket communication, makes the interface between custom application and thermal camera simple. Cross-platform desktop applications can easily use thermal cameras and analyze data on Windows, OSX or Linux. An iOS mobile app is also available in the App Store®. The software can display picture or image streams with multiple color scheme. It can also save and load images or image streams in files that store radiation data for later use or for other applications. TCam software has tools for analyzing radiation data, including histogram display, pixel group analysis and point detector. At most, four additional marks showing the temperature can be placed at different points of the image. It also includes a drawing function, which can draw the data of the point meter and the mark over time. The graphical baseline mode allows the temperature to be compared with a reference point in the scene (for example, comparing the temperature with a blackbody constant). Print to PDF function can be used to print graphics, and data can be exported as text files for analysis in other programs. Python driver allows users to quickly create their own code to obtain thermal imaging data from tCam-Mini through Wi-Fi interface or hardware interface on Raspberry Pi. Hardware and firmware design files are open source and can be obtained in Dan's Github repository. The firmware is designed to be compiled with IDF tool, and the code can be loaded through the built-in USB serial port. Desktop applications and precompiled binaries can also be downloaded quickly on Dan's website.
